What we collect

• Messages you email us: your name, email address and the content of your message.
• The contact tool: it builds a plain-text message in your browser. The text is not sent to our servers by the tool. It only reaches us if you email it yourself.
• Technical data: our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
• Preferences: your cookie choice may be stored in your browser's local storage, as described in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

We use your messages to reply and to improve our guides (legitimate interests, and steps you ask us to take). We use server logs to keep the site secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

How long we keep it

Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and normally deleted within 24 months. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our host.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the site, such as hosting and email providers, under suitable terms, or where the law requires it.

Your rights
